“Relay for Life”“为生命接力”癌症防治活动
起源于1985年的癌症患者关爱活动已经在全球范围内举办了接近30年。在美国、澳洲、欧洲、日本等地每年都会组织盛大的慈善活动！
新加坡是“为生命接力”癌症防治活动的全球第25个参与国。每年的活动惯例都是从晚上6点开始一直持续到第二天早上9点现场有丰富多彩的活动内容。慈善参与者们在体育场接力义跑从傍晚一直到第二天的黎明，象征着生命的“生生不息”，希望能帮助更多的癌症病人鼓起战胜病魔的勇气和大家一起努力迎来新的光明！
The “Relay for Life” cancer prevention and care event, which began in 1985, has been held globally for nearly 30 years. This grand charity event is organized annually in the United States, Australia, Europe, Japan, and other locations!
Singapore is the 25th country globally to participate in the “Relay for Life” cancer prevention and care event. The annual tradition starts at 6 PM and continues until 9 AM the following morning, featuring a variety of activities at the venue. Charity participants take part in a relay race at the stadium from evening until dawn the next day, symbolizing the unending cycle of life, with the hope of giving more cancer patients the courage to fight the disease and collectively strive towards a new dawn!
注意事项
• 本次义工招募的年龄需16岁以上。
• 本次义工的时间较晚、且总时间较长。因为是慈善活动的性质，需要大家坚持到晚上11点之后，请大家报名之前充分考虑自己的时间安排。
• 本次义工的工作可能会需要一部分体力工作，如果有爸爸或者家里的小帅哥们愿意参与，我们热烈欢迎。
• 防癌协会可以为完成整场活动的义工提供义工证明。
• 名额有限，以报名表填写时间为准，先到先得。
Important Notes
• Volunteers for this event must be 16 years of age or older.
• The volunteer hours for this event are late and the total time commitment is significant. Since it is a charity event, we require everyone to stay until after 11 p.m., so please fully consider your schedule before applying.
• The volunteer work may involve some physical labor. We warmly welcome fathers or young men from your families who are willing to participate.
• The Cancer Prevention Association can provide a certificate of volunteer service for those who complete the entire event.
• Spots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis according to the time the registration form is filled out.
